NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Feb. 26, 2015:
CloudBerry Lab
™, a vendor of backup and management solutions for public cloud storage services, today released details of
its record growth for fiscal year 2014. For the year ended December 31, 2014, reseller revenues grew by a remarkable 320 percent over
the prior year, while end-user revenue nearly tripled, increasing by 184 percent. The customer count also increased significantly
throughout 2014, with the total number of resellers increasing by 282 percent and end-user customer totals increasing by 86 percent.
This remarkable growth reflects the accelerating demand for CloudBerry’s affordable, advanced cloud backup solutions, which offer the security,
ease of management, flexibility and scalability necessary for reliable data protection.
CloudBerry also added new capabilities and integrations to its core backup product in 2014, which contributed to revenue growth, including:
-
CloudBerry Managed Backup Integration with Autotask:
The integration of Autotask
with CloudBerry’s cloud backup solution enables managed service providers (MSPs)
to automate IT services management, creating a turnkey cloud backup offering.
Now, MSPs with customers using both platforms have the ability to automate customer management for backup services,
including user lists, billing and support tickets.
-
CloudBerry Managed Backup Integration with ConnectWise: By integrating its Managed Backup Service with the ConnectWise Business Management Platform,
CloudBerry has created a seamless online backup solution offering for managed service providers (MSPs), value added resellers (VARs),
and systems integrators. This offering streamlines operations and increases profits while creating a turnkey
cloud backup solution to add to their service portfolios.
“During 2014, many resellers and SMBs previously reluctant to embrace the cloud for backup responded to the availability of the advanced cloud backup
solutions we were offering the market,” said Alexey Serkov, CTO at CloudBerry Lab. “Our success in 2014 was due to our focus on secure cloud backup
solutions that provide an answer for today’s backup requirements while remaining flexible and affordable.”
